Undergraduate Research and Poster Symposium scheduled for Tuesday

The 2017 Undergraduate Research and Poster Symposium will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday (April 11) in the Purdue Memorial Union North and South Ballrooms.

The symposium will showcase the research of over 290 undergraduate students representing eight colleges and schools. It is free and open to the public with refreshments available throughout the day for attendees and participants.

Judges will review the posters and interact with the participating students from 1 to 3:30 p.m., and the awards presentation will start at 4 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top posters from each sponsoring college and school. In addition, Purdue Libraries will award prizes for the top abstracts and the Honors College will present People’s Choice Awards for the posters receiving the most votes from the symposium’s attendees.

The symposium is sponsored by the College of Agriculture, the College of Engineering, the College of Health and Human Sciences, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Science, the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Krannert School of Management, the Honors College, Purdue Libraries and the Office of the Provost.
