Purdue FedEx account number changing

Materials Management and Distribution has announced that the Purdue FedEx account number ending in 8595 has been changed due to a large volume of fraudulent charges appearing on the account. With this change, MMAD no longer will be using or supplying FedEx pre-printed paper airway bills on campus.

MMAD is requiring that any pre-printed airway bills be returned to its shipping office at the Materials Management and Distribution Center. These steps are being taken to decrease the visibility of Purdue’s new FedEx account.

Those who have been using paper FedEx airway bills can use Form 23-Domestic or Form 23-International found at www.purdue.edu/materials under the Forms tab.

MMDC is also requiring that all users who currently create FedEx shipping labels online to change their password.

All packages sent with the old airway bills using the old account number ending in 8595 will be stopped by FedEx and will require an additional charge to be released.
