'Student of Concern' resources offered by Office of the Dean of Students

With the end of the semester upon us, the Office of the Dean of Students wants to remind the campus community about resources available to assist in providing care to our students.

Student of Concern Report: If at any point you are worried about a student, you can complete a Student of Concern Report at www.purdue.edu/odos and clicking “Report a Student of Concern.”

The most frequently reported concerns are:

* Personal events (loss of a loved one; ended relationship; financial loss).
* Excessive and extended absences.
* Stopped communication.
* Changes in behavior.

Student of Concern Guides: This guide serves as an easy reference of resources available to students 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Over 10,000 of these guides have been distributed over the past two years. To request copies for a department, office or organization, click here.

Student of Concern/Behavior Intervention Team presentation: If offices or departments would like to request an ODOS presentation or ODOS presence at a regularly scheduled staff meeting, presentation requests can be made by completing the request form here.
