CCO Career Closet seeking donations

The Center for Career Opportunities on April 9-13 will hold a donation drive for its Career Closet. Donations also will be accepted before the Purdue Fashion Show on April 7.

The CCO Career Closet provides professional clothing to students who are unable to afford proper interview attire. Since its opening in 2014, the CCO Career Closet has provided over 1,800 clothing items to approximately 1,600 students.

The Career Closet is in need of men’s and women’s full suits, and individual pieces such as shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, belts, ties and gently worn shoes. An acknowledgement for tax purposes is available upon request if the donor's name and email address are provided at the time of donation.

Donations may be made:

* April 9-13: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at CCO in Young Hall, Room 132.
* April 7: Before Purdue Fashion Show. Starting at noon (before 12:30 p.m. show) and 3 p.m. (before 3:30 p.m. show) at the Córdova Recreational Sports Center.
