Distance Education Listening Sessions seeking discussion, ideas

The University Senate Kaplan Entity Special Committee and Purdue leadership wish to engage faculty and staff in a discussion to gather input and perspectives on key issues as we move forward with Purdue online (including West Lafayette, Purdue University Northwest, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne and Purdue Global).

Two sessions are scheduled for faculty and staff to brainstorm ideas and collaborate in this initiative:

* April 20 (F) -- 3-4 p.m. Wilmeth Active Learning Center, Room B074.
* May 4 (F) -- 1:30-2:30 p.m. Stewart Center, Room 320.

As there is limited seating, advance signup is required online.

The sessions will engage attendees in small group discussions to consider questions and new opportunities for Purdue. A flipped-classroom format will be used for the sessions, in which participants will review background information online before they come to the sessions.
