Undergraduate Research Conference scheduled for Tuesday

The 2018 Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference will be held Tuesday (April 10). This year's conference will include oral presentations from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Stewart Center, Room 214, and a poster symposium from 1 to 4:15 p.m. in the Purdue Memorial Union's North and South Ballrooms.

The conference will showcase the research of close to 400 undergraduate students representing all undergraduate colleges and schools. The daylong conference is free and open to the public with refreshments available throughout the day for attendees and participants.

Judges will review the oral presentations and posters and interact with the participating students, and the overall awards presentation will start at 4:15 p.m. following the poster symposium in the PMU Ballrooms. Prizes will be awarded to the top presenters and posters from students' college or school. In addition, Purdue Libraries and Purdue Archives and Special Collections will award prizes for the best presentations and posters. Finally, the Honors College will present awards for the top overall oral presentations.

The symposium is sponsored by the College of Agriculture, the College of Education, the College of Engineering, the College of Health and Human Sciences, the College of Liberal Arts, the College of Pharmacy, the College of Science, the Honors College, the Krannert School of Management, the Office of Undergraduate Research, Purdue Archives and Special Collections, Purdue Libraries, and the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
