APSAC awards grants to 14 employees for professional development
APSAC has awarded individual professional development grants to 14 administrative and professional staff members.
Grants up to $750 are awarded twice a year. APSAC, the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, presented a total of $9,789 for its spring 2018 grants, having received 59 applications. The fall application period will be open Sept. 1-Oct. 1.
Grant recipients, their positions and the areas in which they work are:
Boshra Afra, research and education director, Purdue Systems Collaboratory.
Molly Barnard, prevention programming specialist, Center for Advocacy, Response & Education.
Victor Bernal, laboratory manager, Center for Comparative Translational Research.
Wendy Dukes, director of corporate stewardship and alumni engagement, Krannert School.
Lillian Evans, program coordinator, Division of Diversity and Inclusion.
Natasha Harris, assistant director for science diversity, College of Science.
Clifford Harrison, operations manager for digital programs, Purdue University Libraries.
Alexandra Hoff, assistant production editor, Libraries (Scholarly Publishing Division).
Song Kang, captain of special services, University Police.
Adam LaRocca, fire protection engineering specialist, Fire Protection Engineering.
Lindsey Pedigo, HHS Extension educator, Purdue Extension.
Kasey Richardson, assistant director, Center for Advocacy, Response & Education.
Brenda Schroeder, associate director, Office of Student Services, Pharmacy.
