Government policies affecting international students and scholars and their dependents to be discussed at town hall panel discussion

The Office of International Students and Scholars will host a town hall panel discussion 2-4 p.m. Oct. 25 in Stewart Center’s Fowler Hall to discuss new government policies affecting international students and scholars and their dependents.

Christine Collins, director of International Student Services, and Amanda Thompson, director of International Scholar Services, will discuss how to manage risk under the new “days of unlawful presence” and “notice to appear” policies recently published by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Angela Adams, immigration attorney and owner of Adams Immigration Law, LLC, will appear as a guest panelist.

The town hall panel discussion is open to faculty, staff and students. Seating is limited and by reservation only. Reserve your seat here.
