Purdue employees invited to SuccessFactors Resource Fair on Nov. 1

The Transform Purdue initiative led by Business Process Reengineering is in the final phase designed to streamline, simplify, organize and automate Purdue business processes and related system. Business Process Reengineering will host a SuccessFactors Resource Fair for all Purdue employees on Nov. 1 in preparation for Purdue’s approaching upgrade to SAP SuccessFactors in January 2019.

SuccessFactors, an integrated, cloud-based core human capital management solution, will be used by employees for self-service functionality including direct deposit information, home address and education updates, tax withholdings and more.

All benefits-eligible employees, including benefits-eligible graduate student staff, also will use the system to request time off and complete staff performance management evaluations. Supervisors and managers will complete approval steps for these actions through SuccessFactors.

Nonexempt (i.e. hourly) employees who currently complete a paper timecard or clock in and out through a Kronos terminal will transition to SuccessFactors upon implementation, and supervisors and managers will begin to approve employee working time electronically. The first biweekly payroll period processed through SuccessFactors will be Dec. 24-Jan. 6. Additionally, all vacant or new student, staff and faculty positions will be recruited through SuccessFactors.

The Success Factors Resource Fair, which will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union’s South Ballroom, will offer three informational demonstrations. Each demonstration will include an introduction to SuccessFactors, an introduction to Time and Leaves, and a recruitment period. The times for the three demonstration sessions are 10:30-11:45 a.m., 12:30-1:30 p.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.

The SuccessFactors Resource Fair also will offer a variety of resource tables that will have important information for employees. Each table will have materials outlining process changes, laptops displaying recorded presentations and subject matter experts to help answer questions. The resource tables will offer information about onboarding new employees, time-off requests, timekeeping, position management/creation and more. More information about the fair, including a full list of resource tables, can be found online. Food and drinks will be served throughout the day.
