Purdue Global's Concord Law School to hold 20th anniversary webinar with Harvard Law School human rights expert

Concord Law School at Purdue University Global is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a live webinar, “The Future of Access to Justice,” at 3 p.m. ET on Oct. 15.

The webinar will be hosted by Martin Pritikin, dean of Concord Law School, and will feature guest speaker Martha Minow, the 300th Anniversary University Professor at Harvard University.

Following nomination by former President Barack Obama and confirmation by the Senate, Minow serves as vice chair of the board of the Legal Services Corporation, the bipartisan, government-sponsored organization that provides legal assistance to low-income Americans. Minow also has served as the most recent dean of Harvard Law School and was a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

Minow is an expert in human rights with a focus on members of racial and religious minorities, women, children and persons with disabilities. Her scholarship also has addressed transitional justice; freedoms of speech and religion; and law, culture and social change.

Registration for the webinar, which is open to the public, is available online.
