Purdue’s Integrative Data Science Initiative, in partnership with the College of Science, has launched the Data Science Consulting Service. The DSCS will provide hands-on consulting support for data analysis and business analytics in all areas to overcome data science challenges arising in research, education, and business and organization management.

Consultants have expertise in deep machine learning, data mining, big data analysis, artificial intelligence, business analytics and computational statistics.

“The Data Science Consulting Service aims to assist with data science-related calls from a multitude of federal agencies and private sectors. Our staff and consultants can apply state-of-the-art machine learning and visualization techniques to your data to enable data-driven scientific discovery,” says Guang Lin, director of the Data Science Consulting Service.

To learn more about the Data Science Consulting Service, join a formal presentation featuring Lin, who also is associate professor of mathematics, statistics and mechanical engineering, on Wednesday (Feb. 20).

The presentation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Potter Engineering Center, Fu Room (Room 234). Light refreshments will be offered. Anyone with an interest in data science is invited to attend.
