Discovery Park to provide workshops in support of Big Idea Challenge 2.0 submissions

With the announcement of the Big Idea Challenge 2.0, Discovery Park will offer two Value Proposition Workshops to assist teams in developing their proposals. The workshops will be held 1:30-2:30 p.m. today (March 18) at Discovery Park’s Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 129, and 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 19) in Grissom Hall, Room 134.

These workshops, presented by the Purdue Agile Strategy Lab, are designed to assist research teams with developing their value propositions. Discovery Park encourages those interested in submitting their proposals to attend a session and receive guidance during the drafting process. Questions regarding the Agile Strategy Lab should be directed to Scott Hutcheson, associate director, at hutcheson@purdue.edu.

Building on the success of the first Discovery Park Big Idea Challenge, the Big Idea Challenge 2.0, announced March 6, will provide resources to interdisciplinary teams of Purdue faculty and students pursuing bold proposals that address global challenges. The program will fund selected teams for up to two years (depending on scope of the proposal). Proposals are due on April 15. Refer to the program guidelines for proposal details.

Additional questions can be directed to Sasha Boltasseva, professor in the College of Engineering and inaugural Discovery Park fellow, at aeb@purdue.edu.
