Purdue’s student musicians perform with a harmony of talent, skill, camaraderie and enthusiasm. Two ensembles from Bands & Orchestras will jazz it up March 6. They’ll bring it. Don't Miss It!

The Guitar & Saxophone Ensemble and Lab Jazz Band II plan to liven up Purdue Memorial Union. 6-8 p.m. Purdue Bands & Orchestras events.

The exhibition "Apollo 11 in the Archives: Selections from the Neil A. Armstrong Papers" will open, celebrating 50 years since the first moon landing and 150 years of Purdue. March 18-Aug. 16. By Archives and Special Collections library. Semester hours: 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Summer hours TBA. Library is on fourth floor, STEW (enter from HSSE Library). The library also has online exhibitions.

“What If Psychedelics Can Heal?” is the talk that Michael Pollan, a best-selling author on such substances and food, will bring. This is an event in the "Health, Longevity and Quality of Life" theme of the Ideas Festival, the centerpiece of Purdue's yearlong Giant Leaps Sesquicentennial Campaign. Q&A session at 6 p.m. in STEW, Fowler Hall, led Rhonda Phillips, interim dean of Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies, the lead sponsor.
