Space Exploration, Artificial Intelligence, Health & Longevity and Sustainable Economy & Planet are the themes represented in Purdue’s 150th anniversary Giant Leaps campaign. The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research and Partnerships is celebrating Women’s History Month by featuring 31 Purdue women researchers in these areas.

The account, Research at Purdue, can be found on Twitter and Facebook. A web-based feed will also be available for those who don’t follow social media.

“We are very excited to feature some of our women researchers in conjunction with Women’s History Month,” says Sarah Anderson, writer/graphic designer who oversees social media in Research Communications within the EVPRP office. "Purdue has a strong history for women in research; we’re showcasing some of our current faculty members, as well as a few legendary throwbacks in Purdue’s history. The 150th anniversary of Purdue is a great time to promote those who have made significant contributions to the University”

The posts -- which will be noted with the hashtag #31Purdue Women -- will appear each morning at 8 a.m.
