Search launched for director of Purdue Policy Research Institute in Discovery Park

Purdue is inviting applications and nominations for the position of director of the Purdue Policy Research Institute in Purdue’s Discovery Park.

The director position is open to an associate or full faculty member with demonstrated leadership and academic scholarship and expertise, interest, and/or experience in public policy and transdisciplinary collaboration. A distinguished record of excellence in research, teaching and/or engagement is required. In lieu of holding a faculty position, applicants with equivalent experience in the government or private sector will also be considered. The PPRI director is at least a 50 percent and up to a 75 percent time appointment. PPRI has a dedicated suite of offices with meeting space, student and support staff, undergraduate student fellows, faculty affiliates, and internal and external advisory committees.

To receive full consideration, applicants are encouraged to submit a letter of interest that outlines qualifications for the position and a curriculum vitae. Finalists will be asked to submit a one-page vision statement. Full review of applications will commence March 22; applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
