Campus community invited to Earth Week events next week

Students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in free events held April 24-27 on or near the West Lafayette campus as part of Purdue’s Earth Week. Details are included below, including links to register when required. 

  • April 24 (W)“The Human Element” documentary screening, 5:30 p.m., Córdova Recreational Sports Center, Boilermaker Room.
  • April 25 (Th) 10th Annual Tree Campus USA Recognition, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., west of University Hall. A tree planting event with limited availability is open to students, who must pre-register and wear closed-toe shoes to participate.
  • April 27 (Sa)DeTrash the Wabash, 9 a.m.-noon, Tapawingo Park. Registration is required, and additional information is available on the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation.
