Congressman Baird marks Purdue sesquicentennial with speech, congressional proclamation

U.S. Rep. Jim Baird (R-IN-4), a Purdue alumnus, helped celebrate Purdue’s 150th anniversary with a speech May 10 on the floor of the House of Representatives and a congressional proclamation. Baird stopped by Hovde Hall at Purdue’s West Lafayette campus on Wednesday (May 29) to deliver the proclamation in person to President Mitch Daniels.
