Proposals invited for Purdue Global Village conference

The Center for Teaching and Learning at Purdue University Global is now accepting proposals for its 12th annual professional development event, Purdue Global Village. The event will take place Nov. 4-8 to provide a forum for collaborative professional development to enhance student learning. All Purdue faculty, staff and administrators are invited to participate.

The deadline to submit proposals is 11:59 p.m. ET June 23.

The theme for the conference this year is “Reaching Out, Connecting Globally and Growing for Success.” The conference’s five pillars, developed by the Center for Teaching and Learning: Classroom Foundations, Leadership and Organization, NextGen Learning, Scholarship and Student Focus. Five different types of proposals will be accepted this year:

* Live presentation.
* Asynchronous poster session.
* Live poster presentation.
* Poster session with audio.
* Podcast session.
