Resources available to assist in navigating SuccessFactors

Employees experiencing jitters when using SuccessFactors for the first time: Not to worry, there are several help resources available.

SuccessFactors is the easy-to-use human resources system that covers everything from payroll to talent management and performance management for the University. Most employees access SuccessFactors to review pay statements, record time worked, request time off, complete performance appraisal tasks or even apply for a job. Supervisors and managers use SuccessFactors to approve time or time-off requests, post vacant positions, walk through the hiring process, initiate goals with staff members and complete appraisals.

SuccessFactors is easily accessed through the OneCampus portal. Select “Employee Launchpad” and log in using BoilerKey.

All SuccessFactors-related training resources are available online. The dedicated Employee Information, Timekeeping and Time off webpage offers the following:

  • An online video that demonstrates navigation, including personalizing tiles, creating favorites and updating employee profile.
  • A quick cheat sheet outlines common tasks related to the employee profile.
  • A quick reference guide provides more detailed information, such as how to edit bank information (Page 5) and tax information (Page 6).
