Reaccreditation drop-in sessions open to all

All faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in drop-in sessions as part of Purdue’s reaccreditation process. The University is undergoing a reaccreditation evaluation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a reaffirmation process undertaken once every 10 years.

The HLC peer review team will visit campus on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 14-15). Their visit includes drop-in sessions for any faculty, staff and students to come and talk with the reviewers. All are welcome to join the conversation at the following times and location:

  • Monday (Oct. 14) -- 11:15 a.m.-noon, Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142.
  • Monday (Oct. 14) -- 4:15 p.m.-5 p.m., Lawson Computer Science Building, Room 1142.

The peer review team members are:

  • Marius Boboc (chair), vice provost for academic planning, Cleveland State University.
  • Malinda M. Matney, director of assessment, Center for Research on Learning and Teaching, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
  • Jonathon S. Overocker, associate vice chancellor for student affairs, University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
  • Lesley Ann Cottrell, professor, West Virginia University.
  • Gary Sandefur, provost and senior vice president of academic affairs, Oklahoma State University.
  • Elaine M. Klein, associate dean of academic planning and director of university general education, University of Wisconsin-Madison.
  • Brian Rigling, professor, Wright State University.
  • Mardy T. Eimers, vice provost for institutional research and quality improvement, University of Missouri, Columbia.
