Workshop to cover financial planning for college
Human Resources will host a family-friendly workshop on college planning at noon-1 p.m. Dec. 11 in Stewart Center, Room 311.
“Your College Planning Choices” will discuss the cost of college today and help attendees consider the different ways available to save for college, such as the 529 college savings plans and other vehicles. This workshop will be presented by Tosin Ratchford, dedicated retirement planner, Fidelity Investments.
Registration is due Dec. 10 and is available online. Log in and select "Wellness Events." Limited seats are available.
This workshop supports the Healthy Boiler Program’s Financial Wellness pillar, which provides financial education and guidance programs that help ensure long-term financial well-being, as well as the Work-Life Integration pillar, offering family-friendly benefits and programs that meet 21st century work-life demands.
