“Angels in America,” the multiple prize-winning drama that moved gay realities and issues further into public attention, is playing on the Purdue Theatre stage. The production is “Part One: Millennium Approaches,” which traces several lives and the way they are caught up in political, intellectual and spiritual themes — themes that still resound in U.S. society. This week, Purdue also will have a musical drama depicting another individual-social situation, that of Rosa Parks and the quest for civil rights. Art at Purdue has a contemporary feel. Don’t Miss It!
