Faculty proposals due Wednesday for new STEM undergraduate research program

The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), in partnership with the Indiana Space Grant Consortium, is seeking faculty proposals for the new Undergraduate Research in STEM Applications (URSA) program. Proposals are due Wednesday (Jan. 15).

The URSA program provides research support and curricular activities with the goal of attracting and training researchers in broadly defined NASA-related STEM areas.

Faculty and staff conducting research in any of the areas supported by NASA are encouraged to submit proposals of research projects for undergraduate students to participate in during the Spring 2020 semester. Proposals will be submitted online by going to OURConnect (Purdue career account and password required) and clicking on “Submit a Project” under the left-hand URSA menu.

For more information, contact Amy Childress, director of OUR, at childres@purdue.edu.
