Submissions for Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference due March 15

Undergraduate students have until March 15 to apply to present a poster on their research or creative endeavors at the 2020 Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference. Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to participate. Those interested in presenting an oral presentation should submit their abstract through the online submission site.

The poster symposium will occur on April 14 in two sessions 9:30 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4:30 p.m. in Purdue Memorial Union's North and South ballrooms.

Oral presentations will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 15 in Stewart Center, Room 214, depending on the number of selected talks.

Faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in judging during the poster symposium or the oral presentations should register on the conference’s judging information link.

Both events will showcase the research of undergraduate students and are open to the public. Prizes will be awarded from each of the sponsoring academic units. The process of disseminating research results, gaining valuable feedback from judges, and networking with other participants is a vital step in the learning process from engaging in a research experience.

The Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference is organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research. The OUR website also features this semester's seminar series, a listing of available undergraduate research opportunities, resources for getting started in undergraduate research, and a method to subscribe to the undergraduate research newsletter.
