Retail dining announces hours, operations for rest of summer

Many West Lafayette campus retail dining locations have adjusted their hours and operations for the summer months. Students, faculty, staff, visitors and community members can find the latest information below, including anticipated changes throughout the summer and leading up to the fall semester.

“Summer is a time when the campus scene is generally a little quieter due to students graduating or going home after the spring semester,” says Rob Wynkoop, associate vice president for auxiliary services. “We continue to encourage people to consider the retail dining venues that remain open if they are on campus.”

Through July 2

• Boilermaker Market on Third Street, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily
• Chick-fil-A, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Continuum Café, 7:30 a.m.-2 pm, Monday-Friday
• Freshens Fresh Food Studio, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, smoothies only
• Panera Bread Company, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Starbucks® at Third Street Suites, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday

Wynkoop said these locations will be closed July 3-5 due to the Independence Day holiday weekend. There are also plans to expand hours and operations at some locations as the fall semester approaches.

July 6-Aug. 18

• Boilermaker Market on Third Street, 9 a.m.-8 p.m. daily
• Chick-fil-A, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Continuum Café, 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday
• Freshens Fresh Food Studio, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, full menu
• Panera Bread Company, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily
• Starbucks at Third Street Suites, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. daily

All locations are open to the public and accept cash and debit and credit cards. Students can use dining dollars and Boiler Express as payment also.

Chick-fil-A

Last year Purdue partnered with Chick-fil-A to open a restaurant in Frieda Parker Hall, recently renamed from Griffin Residence Hall North, located at 401 N. Russell St. This location serves Greater Lafayette and offers mobile ordering with eight reserved parking spots on Russell Street for pickups. Additional amenities include catering pickup and delivery, Wi-Fi and indoor and outdoor seating for patrons; hours are listed above.

Starship

Over the summer, Starship will provide delivery services for Boilermaker Market on Third Street, Panera Bread Company and Starbucks.

Campus visitors

Individuals who are visiting the West Lafayette campus should follow all Protect Purdue guidelines, including the correct wearing of a face mask inside any campus building.
