Purdue announces switch to Experian’s uConfirm for employment verification

As of today (Dec. 13), Purdue will begin using Experian’s uConfirm for employment and income verification. This change is expected to improve the workflow of the employment verification process while also adding security.

Purdue receives volumes of requests from third parties (such as lenders, property managers, and social service agencies) that need to verify employment and salary history for current and former employees. Verifiers typically request this information by phone, email or fax.

Effective today, requests from a third party to verify employment or salary history for a current or former employee should be referred to uConfirm’s website, www.uconfirm.com, to complete the verification process.

The uConfirm process is seamless for employees, and they may access their own verification records by visiting the uConfirm website.

For resources related to the uConfirm process, review the Employment Verification webpage.
