Inclusive Excellence Graduate Certificate Program application deadline March 1

Purdue’s Office of Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs is now taking applications for the Inclusive Excellence Graduate Certificate Program.

The program was created in collaboration with the American Studies program at Purdue to help individuals develop the necessary skills to work across difference and foster diverse and inclusive professional and nonprofessional communities.

Throughout the program, students will be asked to enhance their understanding and awareness on a variety of topics related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Students are required to complete nine credit hours -- six credit hours in required courses and three credit hours from experiential learning. The required courses must be completed before the experiential learning.

This certificate program is open to anyone who has completed a bachelor’s degree. To enter the program, a person must apply for admission to the Graduate School and specific requirements must be met. The deadline to submit an application for the fall 2022 program is March 1.
