Middle school students invited to free engineering program
Purdue’s Women in Engineering Program is inviting middle school students, grades 6-8, with an interest in engineering to join Innovation to Reality.
Innovation to Reality is a program that allows students to discover how engineering can shape their future while letting their imagination and creativity shine through hands-on engineering activities. Activities include paper prosthetic hands, rockets, circuitry, coding and more. Participants will also interact and receive guidance from Purdue female engineering students.
The Innovation to Reality programs will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. ET March 31, April 7 and April 14. Each eligible student can register for any or all of the sessions. More information and registration can be found online, listed under the “Events” tab.
The application deadline is March 21. Space is limited for this event so early registration is encouraged.
