Experiential Education ExEd Champions Consultation Fair set for Sept. 20

The Office of Experiential Education (ExEd) recently launched its ExEd Champions program, and seven faculty and staff were named as the inaugural cohort of ExEd Champions. As part of their work with the office, the ExEd Champions serve as consultants to faculty and staff who offer experiential education programs inside and outside the classroom and to those who aren’t doing so yet but have an interest in getting involved.

The Office of ExEd is inviting Purdue West Lafayette faculty and staff to attend the ExEd Champions Consultation Fair from 2-3:30 p.m. Sept. 20 in the Hall for Discovery and Learning Research, Room 131. This event is designed to allow faculty and staff the opportunity to meet with the ExEd Champions to discuss ideas and ask questions about experiential education. Refreshments will be provided, and ample parking is available across the street from the Discovery and Learning Research building.

As part of this event, participants who complete the event evaluation will be entered to win one of three $300 program grants. These funds can be used toward supplies or professional development to assist participants in getting started with their ExEd idea or to grow a current program.

To register for this event, complete the RSVP form. For more information, contact Jennifer Dobbs-Oates, director of the Office of Experiential Education, at jendo@purdue.edu.
