Experiential Education spring events

During the Spring 2023 semester, the Office of Experiential Education (ExEd) will be hosting workshops led by the ExEd Champions, Community of Practice events and an end-of-year celebration. The Purdue community is welcome to join any of the events. Events include:

  • Community of Practice: Digital and International Collaborations Through COIL and Virtual Exchange, Jan. 26, 10:30 a.m. to noon on Zoom.
  • Champions Workshop: Establishing and Sustaining ExEd Partnerships, Feb. 1, 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Zoom.
  • Chat With the Champions, Feb. 7, 2:30-4 p.m. in STEW 218A.
  • Champions Workshop: Teaching Intercultural Learning Skills, Feb. 15, 3-4:30 p.m. in WALC 3154.
  • Champions Workshop: Scholarship of Engagement, Feb. 28, 1:30-2:30 p.m. in RAWL 2077 and on Zoom.
  • Community of Practice: Practitioner-Scholars and the Scholarship of ExEd, March 22, 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Zoom.
  • Champions Workshop: Folding ExEd Into Academic Courses, April 4, 11 a.m. to noon in WALC B066.
  • ExEd Celebration, April 6, 9-10:30 a.m. in Dauch Alumni Center.

About the Office of Experiential Education

The Office of Experiential Education was created to carry out the experiential education component of Purdue’s Transformative Education 2.0 initiative. The office is in the Teaching and Learning Division of the Office of the Provost. The mission of the office is to support, enhance and expand undergraduate experiential education at Purdue West Lafayette.
