Human Resources launches new employer brand initiative

Human Resources has partnered with Brandemix to create an employer brand and boost the university’s success with recruitment and retention.

“As a renowned academic institution, we recognize that our faculty and staff are the foundation of our university, and as such, we want to ensure that we continue to attract and retain top talent to propel us toward the ‘Next Giant Leap,’” said Amy Boyle, associate vice president for talent in human resources.

A strong employer brand and employer value proposition will help strengthen Purdue’s reputation as an employer of choice.

To gain a better understanding of the current employer brand perception among staff and potential candidates, Brandemix will conduct research over the next several months.

Its methodology will include internal focus groups starting June 26, surveys and one-on-one interviews about what employees value most about working for Purdue. There will also be external one-on-one interviews with candidates on their perception of Purdue as an employer.
