Carrum Health to present Healthy Boiler workshop focused on breast cancer; register by June 18

Carrum Health, which provides Purdue employees covered on a Purdue health plan a special surgery and medical benefit that offers enhanced coverage for certain planned procedures at participating Centers of Excellence, is hosting a virtual Healthy Boiler workshop on breast cancer Tuesday, June 18, from 1-1:45 p.m. ET. The workshop, titled “Your Breast Cancer IQ: Debunking Myths, Assessing Your Risk and Taking Control of Your Health” will focus on: 

  • The role of genetics
  • Debunking myths
  • How personalized medicine can help in someone’s treatment should they be diagnosed  

Dr. Arianne Gallaty from The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders will present the workshop, which supports the physical health pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program.
