PUPD to offer free active threat training in June

The Purdue University Police Department offers free, in-person training classes for potential active shooter/threat events.

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) class provides strategies, guidance and plan options for surviving an active threat event. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options, and preparing in advance what the response will be. CRASE was designed by Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training in 2004.
