Sgt. Nick Crosby

Sgt. Nick Crosby (Purdue University Police Department): During July move-in at Harrison Hall, I overheard a conversation by two students. One of them was commenting on how he got "turned around" and wasn't sure where to go. He looked around and made eye contact with "a cop" and thought, "Uh oh … what did I do?" Then the officer smiled at him and the student was stunned. He said, "Oh my God. He actually wanted to help me." This student was talking to another student about the great service he received from one of our own PUPD officers. I think this speaks volumes about our Purdue community, and I wanted to let Sgt. Crosby know how that one simple act of kindness affected one of our students on his first day. We here in University Residences-Facilities appreciate all the help you give us during move-in, but this means even more. Thank you from all of University Residences-Facilities! -- Carol Brawner (University Residences-Facilities)
