Appointments, honors and activities

Faculty and staff honors:

- Kathryn C. Seigfried-Spellar, assistant professor in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute Department of Computer and Information Technology, was awarded the “Outstanding Research Award” in February from the digital and multimedia sciences section of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences during the academy’s 70th annual meeting in Seattle, Washington.

Student honors:

- Andrew Fogel, a graduate student studying history, will present an invited paper from his dissertation at the Roosevelt Institute of American Studies in Middelburg, Netherlands, this summer. His presentation is titled “Comics and the Politics of Jewish Identity in America, 1938-1955.”

Rankings:

- Krannert School of Management’s executive MBA program was ranked in the first tier and No. 9 globally in CEO magazine’s 2018 global MBA rankings. Krannert’s IMM Global Executive MBA was ranked No. 16 globally. More information is available online.
