New blog highlights research articles by Engineering professors

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The latest in ideas and innovation by Purdue College of Engineering professors will be featured in a new blog.

Purdue Engineering Review, recently launched by the college, includes articles, Q&A’s and additional articles by professors. The blog features article categories on a variety of subjects, from space and robotics to health and energy.

Mung Chiang, the John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering, said the blog will feature constant updates of new articles.

“This blog site of Purdue Engineering Review will showcase our thought leadership as we open the door for fresh content continuously,” he said. “Voices of Purdue Engineering faculty will add to the conversations about key topics in society.” 

Faculty featured this month on the blog are Chiang; Karthik Ramani, the Donald W. Feddersen Professor of Mechanical Engineering; Neera Jain, assistant professor of mechanical engineering; David Spencer, associate professor of aeronautics and astronautics; Peter Bermel, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; and Ramses Martinez, assistant professor of industrial engineering.

Their articles cover 5G innovation, solar energy and wearable devices technology.

The blog is hosted by Medium, which presents user-generated content in a customized website setup.
