Purdue Galleries to present juried art and design student exhibition

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University Galleries’ Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Stewart Center will exhibit a juried art show highlighting works from Purdue’s undergraduate students in art and design. This annual juried exhibition will open Feb. 25 and run through March 8. 

All undergraduate students taking classes in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Design, Art, and Performance were invited to submit work to this juried show, with selections made by faculty in art and design. The Rueff School’s Department of Art and Design offers degrees in industrial design, interior design, visual communications design, art education, art history, integrated studio arts, and studio arts and technology. Students were eligible to submit work in all media and the exhibition will feature drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, furniture, photography, video and more.

A reception and awards ceremony will be hosted in Robert L. Ringel Gallery from 5:30-7 p.m. on Feb. 28.

Ringel Gallery is located in the Stewart Center and is open 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All Purdue Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public.
