Cameron Graves to perform at Purdue on Sept. 26

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Cameron Graves will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse on the campus of Purdue University. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations with support from Piano Giving Circle, and Nancy DiMartino and Stephen Borghi.

Graves is revitalizing funk, jazz, soul and fusion with kaleidoscopic, kinetic energy. Graves co-founded L.A.’s West Coast Get Down (WCGD) alongside the supernova saxophone of Kamasi Washington. Graves’ 2017 debut album, “Planetary Prince,” emerged from a marathon WCGD recording session.  

Tickets are $26 for adults and $20 for children 18 years and younger, Purdue students and Ivy Tech Lafayette students. Initiated in 1902, Purdue Convocations was one of the first professional performing arts presenters in the United States.
