Work-life expert on how coronavirus is changing paid-time-off, telework policies

Ellen Ernst Kossek, the Basil S. Turner Professor of Management, has spent the last three decades studying work-life issues – including work-life balance, workplace flexibility, paid time off and telework – in the public and private sectors. She can discuss how low-income, retail, food service and health care workers often don’t have access to these benefits and might feel pressure to come to work, even if they are sick.

Supply chain expert on how manufacturers can survive coronavirus shock

Ananth Iyer, professor of supply chain management and senior associate dean, Krannert School of Management, is director of the Global Supply Chain Management Initiative and focuses on risk and resilience within supply chains. Amid the coronavirus shock, he can discuss how manufacturers that rely on Chinese components must be flexible and consider new options for suppliers, designs, transportation and production.
