AI workshops for faculty aim to enhance teaching and learning, save instructors time

A series of artificial intelligence workshops for Purdue faculty is designed to help instructors seamlessly integrate new and relevant generative AI technologies into their curriculum, with a strong emphasis on enhancing teaching and learning and saving instructors’ time.

The online workshops, open to instructors from all Purdue campuses, are scheduled for August, September, October and November. They will cover such topics as generating and refining assessments with AI, automating grading with AI, using AI to create visual educational content, AI-enhanced collaborative tools, and more.

The one-hour workshops include hands-on activities centered around practical applications of AI technologies. Participants will come away with skills and knowledge to effectively implement AI tools into their courses, fostering innovation and enhanced learning experiences for students across diverse disciplines.
