“Over the course of my education, my passion for communication just grew and grew. By the end of the program, I really understood that this is what I want to do with my life. I didn’t feel that when I was working as an accountant, so that revelation means a lot to me.”

“I felt like the teachers really pushed your critical thinking. Every time you had a viewpoint on something or a perspective, they were always, ‘But what about this?’ The material was fantastic.”

“[My degree] allowed me to get a good background in how systems typically work and enhance my understanding. It gave me a better understanding for the projects I work on today, in the position that I’m in right now.”

“At Purdue, I was able to focus on what I was interested in, which was veterans’ health care. Veterans are a particularly vulnerable population, so there are lots of interesting challenges when it comes to figuring out health care solutions for them. We have to be innovative, forward-thinkers if we want to make an impact.”

“The program pushed me out of my comfort zone but made me a better person because of it. It challenged the way I think about teaching, and for that I’ll forever be grateful.”
