WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — CNH and Purdue University have signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement to advance key agriculture and construction products, technologies, and services, engaging Purdue University students, researchers, and faculty.

“We value the continued partnership with CNH,” said Bernie Engel, Glenn W. Sample Dean of Agriculture at Purdue University. “The ability for our faculty and students to collaborate closely with an important industry partner, like CNH, allows for a greater understanding of real-world needs and challenges as they work on technologies to deliver solutions.”

This new strategic alliance takes advantage of Purdue’s strengths in agriculture, engineering, computer science, business, and beyond. It will focus on taking cutting-edge research in areas of hydraulics, fluid power, automation and autonomy, sustainability and other advanced technologies and applying it to real-world challenges.

“CNH and Purdue have been collaborating for over a decade,” said Jillian Carbone, CNH’s North America Open Innovation Manager. “Together, we’ve established meaningful and productive relationships with Purdue faculty, students, labs, and centers, such as the Maha Fluid Power Research Center. And we have seen the benefits of these long-term relationships reflected in our workforce, products, services, and local communities”.

“This Strategic Alliance Agreement enables us to deepen such key engagements and sets the foundation for expansion to new areas and opportunities. We are excited to continue discovering, learning, and executing with Purdue,” Jillian Carbone continued.

“Purdue’s research community is at the forefront of addressing and solving the most pressing industry challenges through the creation and dissemination of groundbreaking knowledge,” said Eric Woods, Executive Director of Industry Partnerships at Purdue University. “By collaborating with CNH, a global leader in agricultural and construction innovation, we are ensuring that farmers and builders have access to Purdue’s world-class researchers, faculty, and cutting-edge technology, all dedicated to driving continuous innovation.”
