
Korey Jackson
Lead HEAL Analyst
Korey Jackson, MS is the Lead HEAL Analyst for the Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning (HEAL) at Purdue University, led by Dr. Jerome Adams. His role directly supports a partnership with North Central Health Services (NCHS), led by Holly Wood, and the commitment to improve health and wellness through the Academic Community Partnership (ACP).
Korey joined the Purdue family as an employee in 2021 with the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering as a Health Equity Analyst. In that role Korey managed health equity initiatives in the Northwest Region of Indiana; including the facilitation of new pilot programs centered on maternal health, k-12 education, economic stability, and mental health awareness. Previously, Korey served in a dual role with the Harris County Public Health Department (HCPH) in Houston, TX as the Chronic Disease Manager under the Nutrition and Chronic Disease Division (NCDP) and a COVID-19 Site Manager for a mobile testing team. In 2017 Korey worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a Public Health Associate (PHA).
Korey aims to forge partnerships with municipalities to plan and strategize recommended proposals to advance health equity for racial and ethnic minority groups and individuals who reside in rural and urban communities.
Korey earned a dual degree in Occupational and Environmental Health from Purdue University in 2012. In 2015 Korey earned a graduate degree from Indiana University in Health and Safety Management.
