Description: This course presents and examines the principles of employee-employer relations law. Students will be exposed to various federal and state laws pertaining to employement descrimination based upon demographic differences, such as gender, race, age, ethnicity, and able bodiness. In addition, this course will address issues such as negligent hiring, employment-at-will, wrongful discharge, drug and alcohol testing, and privacy in the workplace.
