| Description: | Advanced assessment techniques are utilized to examine individuals across the lifespan as well as communities. The focus is on the development and modification of skills necessary to assess infants, children, and the elderly. Assessment of adolescent/adult reproductive health and community health also is addressed. Normal and pathological physical alterations are differentiated. Recognition of pathological alterations requiring consultation with or referral to other healthcare providers or community health services is emphasized. |
