Description: Statistics and data management is designed to prepare graduate students to understand the use and application of statistical analyses in research. Participants will learn about various statistical methods and their use in analyzing various types of data and how to evaluate the use of statistical methods in published research literature. Methods for managing and analyzing research data with SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) will be used in a computer laboratory setting to evaluate data in order to answer health-care questions and concerns (evidence-based practice).
