Description: This course provides a detailed introduction to the field of medical ethics, where the class will explore ethical issues in health care, the role of modern technology in medical ethics, moral responsibility and basic biology behind issues of health, disease, life and death. This course includes a service learning component, where the student will explore current ethical issues in community-based health care environments. This course is designed for science and non-science students.
