| Description: | Intermediate course in drawing from the model and other sources. This class will draw at various locations in the community as well as models and still lifes in the classroom. The various materials available are stressed as well as the different effects these materials can produce. The emphasis will be on drawing as a means of expression rather than as a sketch or study. Exercises will be given that will help the student isolate and explore the principles of drawing such as line, volume, mass, tone, space and scale. |
