Short Title: Intro Field Ecology
Description: This laboratory course is designed to provide non-biology majors with a field experience in ecology. Topics may include, but are not limited to: field identification of animals and plants, basic ecological and evolutionary principles, environmental ethics, local geology and ecology, natural resource management, habitat restoration and conservation, land use, and human impacts on the environment. This course cannot be counted toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
