Description: This course builds on the foundational core. Students will utilize the nursing process, incorporating evidence based interventions to manage adult individuals adapting to stimuli. Concepts relative to physiological integrity are emphasized. Conditions discussed are those which occur as episodic/outpatient and episodic/inpatient practice settings. Evidence based interventions related to surgical settings are also included. Preventative strategies are explored as appropriate.
